Hollywood on the Gold Coast, but it's not what you think. For our inaugural photo shoot we travelled to Hillside Carool, a renovated old winery, boasting rows of grape vines and ocean views as far as the eye can see.
Falling down the Instagram rabbit-hole, we were looking for a Hollywood Hills vibe to showcase the Pagoda umbrellas and give a nod to their origins – and we sure found it. Hillside Carool is located approximately 25 minutes from Gold Coast Airport over looking the Tweed Valley, and is home to one of the most stunning poolside vistas we have ever seen. Hollywood Hills eat your heart out.
The property boasts many features and is perfect for large groups, but it's most stunning feature would have to be the 20m pool, bordered with skyscraper Bangalow palms, with the most incredible views of the valley right down to the Gold Coast. We were lucky to stay overnight and rise to meet the morning sun come up over the pool, and it was pure magic.
The sprawling homestead features multiple lawns, perfect for long lunches and Spring soirées.
Hosts James and Bianca have literally thought of everything on this property - it's like Movieworld for adults. Want to play pool? Tick. Want to get creative and cook in the outdoor pizza oven and sit by the fire pit (or in the hot tub) and over look the vineyard as the sun goes down? Double tick. This house literally has everything to host a couple, a family or a big group gathering up to 16.
For added bonus Hillside Carool is close to Husk Distillery, the famous Potager Restaurant, Red Earth Brewery and numerous wedding venues including Summer Grove Estate. This is a rare gem of a property, and we were so thrilled to shoot here - you can check out, or check in, more of Hillside Carool here.
