How do I return my product?

Please refer to our detailed returns policy here. Certain types of items cannot be returned (unless damaged or faulty) such as custom and made to order products. We encourage you to take advantage of our free fabric swatch samples to be 100% certain of a colour before placing an order.

How do I care for my product?

We believe in a 'buy well, buy once' ethos. On each product page you'll find a 'Care' section. We encourage you to familiarise yourself with this to extend the life of your product.

Do you offer customisation?

We welcome bespoke commissions for both private and commercial clients. Across our range of commercial umbrellas and outdoor furniture, we can customise our products to suit your vision and your space.

We offer custom colour powder-coating, hundreds of fabric options, custom piping and embroidery.

We are proud to represent the entire California Umbrella and Isimar collections in Australia, and can source and freight the entirety of these collections.

Warranties

What is the warranty for California Umbrella products?

California Umbrella warrant that during the express warranty period, certain components of the Pagoda California Umbrella will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for individual components of the Pagoda California Umbrella. The limited warranty affects the following components for each of the products: umbrella frames, fabric, and bases.

This limited warranty does not cover any damage due to: (a) transportation; (b) storage; (c) improper use; (d) failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance; (e) modifications; (f) unauthorised repair; (g) normal wear and tear; or (h) external causes such as, wind, rain, accidents, abuse, acts of God, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control. The California Umbrella is not designed to act as protection from wind or rain.

This limited warranty starts on the date of purchase for the following periods:

• Umbrella Frames: one (1) year.
• Fiberglass Ribs: three (3) years.
• Bases: ninety (90) days - we also warrant that our bases will not corrode under usual climate conditions.
• Fabric: five (5) year for Sunbrella Fabrics.

In addition to warranting materials and workmanship, California Umbrella warrant that these fabrics will withstand significant color fade and material rot under usual climate conditions. "Significant color fade" means Sunbrella fabrics are warranted to fade no more than twenty five percent (25%) from their original color during the warranty period as determined by industry testing standards.

With respect to any defective products during the applicable warranty period, California Umbrella will, in their sole discretion, either: (a) repair or replace such defective component free of charge or (b) refund the purchase price of such products. We will also pay for shipping and handling fees to return the repaired or replacement product to you if we elect to repair or replace the defective product.

To obtain warranty service email hello@poolsidestore.com.au during the warranty period and provide your name, address, phone number, and email address, plus your order number or a copy of your original purchase receipt.

The remedies described above are your sole and exclusive remedies and our entire liability for any breach of this limited warranty. Our liability shall under no circumstances exceed the actual amount paid by you for the defective products, nor shall we under any circumstances be liable for any consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages, losses, whether direct or indirect.

What is the warranty for Isimar products?

Isimar guarantees exclusively that upon the delivery date, the products will meet the agreed-upon specifications and will guarantee them for two years.

The products are sold without posterior guarantee and with no compromise of Isimar regarding the possibilities of processing, potential applications and commercialisation.

Isimar will be responsible for repairing or replacing any merchandise that, before the expiration of the two-year
guarantee, have proven not fit for use due to poor materials, design defect or poor construction.

All deficiencies beyond the control of Isimar are excluded from the guarantee and responsibility of Isimar. This specifically includes normal wear and tear, falsified information from the buyer, inadequate maintenance or storage, failing to follow set-up and functional instructions, use of any inappropriate material, influence of chemical or electrolyte action, alteration or modification of the furniture, any type of stain or scratch not reported within 24 hours of reception of material, corrosion as a result of scratches or missing paint as a result of normal use and wear, small dots or lack of paint resulting from the nature of the material that can be corrected with materials provided by Isimar (touch up paint), corrosion from use in maritime zones.

If the buyer alleges that the the agreed-upon guarantee does not meet the technical specifications, the guarantee will only be valid if Isimar has the opportunity to verify that the guaranteed parameters are not met and the guarantee will be limited to the total value of the merchandise, either economically or by replacing the material in question.

The guarantee by Isimar is dependent upon the proper and timely compliance with the payment conditions agreed upon with the buyer.

The guarantee claims and the responsibility of the customer are exhaustively covered by these conditions. When there is no specific statutory law to the contrary, in no case will the buyer be authorised to contractual or extra contractual claims for damages, but not limited to, loss of production, loss of use, of orders, of profit and other direct, indirect or consequential damages. Isimar is only liable to compensate the customer for the costs of remedying defects in the goods supplied by Isimar.
